Financial Analyst / Account Manager needed in Torrance!

Job Description:

One of our prestigious clients in Torrance is looking for a polished and professional Financial Account Manager. The position is Direct Hire / Perm, salary is $60,000 - $65,000 per year and a car allowance and cell phone. Ideal candidate will have at least 4-6yrs experience.

One critical thing they are targeting is someone capable of doing the financial analysis for their clients but also someone polished and professional to prepare and present financial statements to clients.

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:

o Attend offsite client meetings to present results of comprehensive study of the financial data of self-insured and fully-insured for Workers' Compensation, Property & Liability, and Benefit pools.

o Coordinate with the clients, actuaries, auditors, investment advisers, and internal departments to gather data.

o Assist the clients in preparing periodic Treasurer Reports, Payment Orders, Cash Flow Analysis, and Annual Budgets.

o Prepare/maintain all source documents in an orderly fashion that support the conclusions.

o Maintain contact with the client and the account executive/account manager throughout the fiscal year to stay abreast of their needs.

o Stay abreast of recent legislation, FASB and GASB updates to enhance the services provided to the client.

o Prepare and submit required filings: State Controller, Department of Managed Health Care, etc. o Prepare PowerPoint presentations as needed for client meetings and conferences.

o Other duties as assigned.
