Full Job Description:
Treston Security Services is seeking a highly responsible and vigilant individual to join our team as an Armed Cash Carrier in Tarzana, CA. The ideal candidate will be tasked with ensuring the secure transportation of cash, valuables, and other assets between locations. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to respond quickly to potential threats.
Additional responsibilities for this Security Position include:

• 
  
• Securely transport cash, checks, and other valuables between various locations.
  
• Operate armored vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
  
• Maintain a high level of vigilance and situational awareness at all times.
  
• Follow all company protocols and procedures related to security and asset protection.
  
• Perform regular checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
  
• Respond to security threats or emergencies in accordance with company policies.
  
• Complete daily logs and reports related to cash transportation activities.
  
• Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all assets handled.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
    
  • High School Diploma or GED.
    
  • Must have guard card, or able to obtain their Guard Card.
    
  • Must be 18 years of age.
    
  • Have a reliable means of communication and transportation.
    
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
    
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English (Bilingual in Spanish a Plus).
    
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
    
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures.
    
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
    
  • Be an effective team member and courteous telephone manners.
    
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
    
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
    
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
    
  • Good organizational skills.
    
    Licenses (Required):
    
    • 
      
    • Valid Guard Card.
      
    • Valid Exposed Firearms Permit.
      
    • Valid Permits for Non-Lethal Weapons (OC/Pepper Spray; Baton).
      
    • Personal Vehicle + Clean Driving Record.
      
      Experience:
      
      • 
        
      • Security: 2 years (Preferred)
        
      • Security Transport: 2 years (Preferred)
        
      • Armed Security: 2 years (Preferred)
        
      • Financial/Bank Background: 1 year (Preferred)
