Job Description:

Provide overnight support for assigned team, including receiving and preparing product, maintaining floor, displays, and back stock in accordance with company standards, and ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.

• Check product to ensure it meets WFM quality standards.
• Accurately sort and scan waste.
• Maintain production standards.
• Stock and clean shelves, bins, and food preparation areas.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Handle DC and UNFI invoices for product delivered outside store receiving hours.
• Properly check-in product and report miss-picks to team leadership.
• Receive product from receiving location to sales floor or appropriate back stock spaces.
• Aid in receiving and sorting overnight deliveries for other teams.
• Arrive to work station on time, groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment in accordance with WFM cleanliness and safety standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensure accuracy of signs and pricing.Key Skills:
  • Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
  • Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
  • Ability to perform simple math.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.Physical Requirements:
    • Lift 50 pounds.
    • Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
    • Work in wet and dry conditions.Additional Requirements:
      • Work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
