TAX MANAGER

Compensation: $112,000 - $190,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Ensure individual and business tax returns are completed correctly and submitted before deadlines.
  
• Review, approve, and sign tax returns before releasing them to clients.
  
• Coach and mentor staff members to improve their skills and career progression.
  
• Collect all relevant tax-related information from clients to prepare accurate tax returns.
  
• Analyze various tax situations to ensure maximum tax benefit for clients.
  
• Network within professional circles to build relationships and attract new business for the firm.
  
• Manage billing for services and guidance provided to clients.
  
  Minimum Position Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Active CPA license required.
    
  • 5-7 years of experience in public accounting tax work.
    
  • Strong understanding of tax codes and regulations.
    
  • Experience with financial statement interpretation.
    
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of high-performing professionals.
    
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
    
    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in the Construction or Manufacturing industry.
      
    • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead a team.
      
    • Proven experience in client and business development within the industry.
