Job Duties:
-Design of Experiments (DOE)
-Statistical Process Control (SPC)
-Determines manufacturing operation requirements and process
parameters
-Develops plans to evaluate process repeatability and stability
-Develops product and process improvements
-Participates in procedure writing and review
-Performs process and equipment validations
-Provides technical support to other engineers
-Specifies and implements process lay-outs
-Supports manufacturing, development, and implementation
processes
-Utilizes FMEA within process development
-Ensures compliance with GMP's
-Generates documentation for engineering protocols and reports
-Writes engineering and manufacturing specifications
Required:
*Education Level: Undergraduate Degree
*Written Communication: Excellent
*Industry Experience: 1 - 3 Years

*Develops advanced manufacturing systems and processes
*Reviews product performance data to identify trend
*Implements quality system improvements
Position Description:
*Act under supervision of Engineering Manager on multiple
assignments of limited scope and complexity.
Position Responsibilities/Authority:
*Define and generate all required documentation in support of
manufacturing products and processes.
*These include: Engineering protocols, FMECAs, reports,
manufacturing instructions and procedures.
*Ensures compliance with GMP's and internal protocol.
*Uses appropriate statistical support and Design of Experiments
(DOE) when developing recommendations.
*Equipment and Fixturing: Determine specific requirements of
manufacturing operation in order to specify equipment, fixturing,
and process parameters.
Qualification and Validation:
*Develop plans to evaluate process repeatability and stability
through equipment qualification and process validation.
Basic Qualifications:
*Solid oral and written communication skills, including
presentation skills PC skills
*Previous experience in interfacing with suppliers, engineers,
architects and/or contractors
*Effectively communicating requirements resolving conflicts and
achieving objectives
*Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
environment
*Experienced in statistical analysis
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
*Participated in the transfer of new products into
manufacturing
*CAD skills
*Exposure to project
Physical Job Requirements:
*Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision,
and color vision
.Work in a clean room and laboratory
*Exposure to some chemicals
